Who will be crowned the next champions of Europe? For now that remains a million dollar question following the surprises and comebacks last term. The 2018/19 UCL season was one of the most thrilling despite the anti-climax with Liverpool and Spurs.

Barcelona are perennial local champions. The fans and management are desperate for continental success since their last in 2015 when they did the treble. With the push for Neymar, this is obviously the driving force as the current firepower at the Camp Nou can keep them competitive for yet another local glory. Belarus vs Germany Betting Tips

Germany have the opportunity to secure a second-straight win in the Euro 2020 qualifiers when they face Belarus on the road. Joachim Loew’s side had a forgettable experience at the 2018 World Cup where they failed to qualify beyond the group stage and that caused plenty of embarrassment for a team, who are used to competing on the busy end of major tournaments.

The misery was further extended at the Nations League where they failed to win a single game against France and Netherlands and this meant that they were confined to relegation to League B. Despite this, they have found a renewed sense of energy for the European qualifiers and that was visible in their opening game where they avenged their defeat to the Netherlands with a 3-2 scoreline on the road.

As such, the former World Cup champions appeared to be headed in the positive direction with a younger crop of players and they have a good chance to enhance their Euro 2020 qualification prospects by getting the better of Belarus on the road. The Germans had a testing challenge in Holland where they conceded twice during the opener but we are fancying them to keep a clean sheet against Belarus, considering the Dutch themselves managed to secure a comfortable 4-0 triumph against them in Rotherham.

The loss to the Dutch was followed by another defeat to Northern Ireland and Belarus’ prospects of making Euro 2020 appear a distant dream at the moment, unless they can make a stunning turnaround. We are anticipating Germany to make a statement with another away triumph and that should put them in control of their qualifying section ahead of their next encounter against Estonia at home.

Denis Suarez’s agent confirms interest from Napoli ahead of the summer

The agent of Denis Suarez has confirmed that Napoli are one of the clubs, who have expressed an interest in signing the midfielder during this summer’s transfer window. The Spain international joined the Gunners on a short-term loan from Barcelona in January but he has since struggled to settle with 95 minutes of playing time across six appearances.

Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss, agent Felix Guende has revealed that the midfielder is currently carrying a groin injury which has kept him out of contention at the north London side. He added that Napoli have indeed expressed an interest in the former Manchester City graduate but no conclusion regarding the same will be made until the summer.

“He has two years left at Barcelona. This year in England hasn’t been his best. He’s played little and hasn’t been able to find a rhythm. At the moment, he’s injured. He has muscle fatigue and an injury. We’re awaiting the results from the exams. Napoli? The interest is always appreciated, being a team that has been fighting for the top positions for years. It’s a bit soon to talk about the transfer window, but we aren’t excluding anything,” he said.

Suarez has barely featured under the guidance of Unai Emery this year and there have already been mentions that he has proved a flop at the north London club. Nonetheless, the club have the option to sign him permanently for £18m during the summer and it remains to be seen whether Emery will give the green light towards the move.

Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League table at the current point of time, and they are assured of returning to the Champions League, provided they win the remaining games of the season. They can reach the same objective by winning the Europa League, where Emery has a fantastic history in the past. The Spaniard won the competition on three straight occasions with Sevilla between 2014 and 2016.

Pogba wants Manchester United improvement after West Ham draw

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has said that the players need to show an improvement on the recent performance against West Ham United in the Premier League. The Reds produced a lacklustre showing against the Hammers at Old Trafford on Saturday and they were eventually lucky to scrape through a 2-1 win after receiving a couple of penalties in their favour.

Speaking to BT Sport, Pogba acknowledged that the performance on the day was not the best but the club were nonetheless able to secure a win which enhances their prospects of making the top four, he said: “Even if, you know, we didn’t have a good performance as a team, the result is there. We will think only about this today. It was really open, but we didn’t play well. The chances we had, the space that we had, we had the players but we maybe played a bit too slow. We weren’t dangerous, so we’re going to have to fix that.”

Manchester United boss praises Marcus Rashford after Liverpool draw

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has praised the performance of Marcus Rashford during the weekend’s 0-0 league draw against Liverpool. The England international had sustained an ankle problem within the opening minute of the game but he managed to keep going for the entire 90 minutes with three other teammates suffering hamstring injuries during the first half itself.

Speaking after the game, Ole praised Rashford as a ‘warrior’ after he was able to play the entire game despite a swelling on his ankle, he told Sky Sports: “Marcus is a warrior and he’s a Manc and he knows what this game means. We had to keep him on, because we already had to make three subs. It seemed like it was their plan, to just kick him, because they kept kicking him from the first minute. If that’s not an accumulation of fouls I don’t know. But he stayed on. His ankle is like a balloon, so it was a fantastic attitude by him. He’s angry, because of how many fouls they did on him.”
