Its on days like these that King Kenny and his Liverpool boys have to make it count. Whilst the rest of the top 6 challengers have been travelling all over europe and playing in hard-fought matches, the Reds have been staying put on the training field in Melwood, and going through their paces – if we don’t have the better energy, pace and desire this week, we never will have it!

Expect him to be influential if he manages to pass a fitness test.
Sunday might see the welcome return of club hero Steven Gerrard on the pitch, though it’s unlikely he’ll be on from the start. Henderson and Adam have done a reasonable job so far, but Gerrard can make things happen…
