Its hard to predict what the score will be – having scored so many goals over the last few weeks, who knows how many we’ll hit Bolton for?! Bolton don’t have the best defence (conceding three against both Citeh and Liverpool) so you expect United to get a few. Bolton have a reasonable scoring record, and will have their big boys up at every set-piece to try and intimidate goalie David de Gea, who has had an inauspicious start to his Manchester career.

Rooney appears to be going through a purple patch right now, so we’re almost tempted to stick our cash on him as the first goalscorer – though at just 4/1 it hardly seems worth the risk – and United have so many goalscorers that our bet could easily be wiped out very quickly. As a less risky option we’re going for an anytime goalscorer – with Ashley Young having caught the eye after blasting England into the lead in midweek, and generally played well since he arrived at Old Trafford.
