Liverpool vs Wolves

Has Andy Carroll missed his chance? The Englishman has had just 12 chances to impress Kenny Dalglish, but it might well be that his time is up! Whilst he’s linked up to some good effect with Luis Suarez, and has had some flashes of brilliance, he has yet to start scoring the goals that Liverpool desperately need. With Craig Bellamy performing so admirably on his first match after returning to the club, it looks like the fiery Welshman will be difficult to dislodge from the first team.

Carroll might well be sharing the subs bench on Saturday with Steven Gerrard – the captain made a 15 minute cameo on Wednesday (and was warmly welcomed) but after almost 6 months without football, this match might be a game too soon for him.

Thankfully Charlie Adam served his suspension in the Carling Cup, so is available for selection. Wednesday night will have helped nurse a few bruised egos, with the 2-1 win helping the Reds to forget about their dismal result against Spurs, and remember how to pass the ball incisively!

Wolves were up against Spurs the week before and suffered a similar drubbing, before losing to a Joey Barton-inspired QPR last Saturday. They will be keen to get some more points on the board, but might be missing their centre-back / man mountain Roger Johnson (fingers crossed…!)

RESULT BET
It’s difficult to predict a score when Liverpool are (at the moment) so unpredictable! Fresh from our winning result bet on Wednesday (at 1.63 thanks very much!) we’re reasonably confident of a Liverpool win (available at 1.4 with Paddy Power) so that’s where we’ll be sticking all our money!

If we were forced to pick a bet we’d back Liverpool to come through with another 2-1 win at home.

BEST BET
With Wolves looking more than a little shaky at the back, and Liverpool encouraged to get forwards by the Kop, we expect this match to see some goals early doors! Suarez and Bellamy will run the defence into the ground, and we reckon a breakthrough in the first half is almost inevitable! With that in mind, we reckon a HT/FT of Liverpool/Liverpool is a good bet – and its available at 2.0 with Bet Clic!

Place this bet with BetClic and you can’t lose – because it’s your first bet, even if it doesn’t happen you will get your money back! This isn’t like a normal free-bet where they make you spend it on the site, you can actually just take your money and run! There is absoluetley no risk whatsoever, and if you stuck £30 on (the maximum Bet Clic will refund you), you would walk away with £60! Completely risk-free!
