Arsenal, Leicester and Man City lead the race

The English Premier League has a tendency of being an extremely competitive league as there are many clubs that prove their worth and demonstrate that they are capable of becoming the next champions of England and this season is no different.

After 21 league matches, Arsenal and Leicester City are located at the top of the Premier League with a total of 43 points being snatched from each club. Manchester City are following them closely behind with 40 points and Tottenham Hotspur is taking up the 4th spot with 36 points.

Manchester United has slowly been dropping points and it will be incredibly difficult for them to get the spot as they are 9 points behind the table-toppers. (Fans may be tempted to back United at their current 20/1 odds, but here at freebetsnow.co.uk we wouldn’t advocate it, unless you have a bet365 bonus code to get you a better value punt!)

Out of all the managers from the top clubs of the Premier League, Louis van Gaal is one of the coaches who is under heavy pressure after having sustained a string of underwhelming results which include drawing with Leicester City, losing against Bournemouth, losing with Norwich City and then losing against Stoke City.

If Louis van Gaal is not able to clinch a European spot that will allow Manchester United to compete in a European competition for the next season, his chances of remaining in Old Trafford are very slim but the Dutch coach needs to add some kind of spark to the team and they need it fast.

Leicester City has surprisingly maintained themselves in the top spots of the Premier League. A lot of people were expecting to see the team of Claudio Ranieri start dropping points and fall behind in the rankings after they begin facing off with the big clubs of the league but it hasn’t happened as they have claimed victories over Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea as well as forcing draws with Manchester City and Manchester United.

There is no doubt that Leicester City are the underdogs who have been making a breakthrough season but I just don’t see them winning the league in this season.

Arsenal have been the most dominating team so far and if the key players of Arsene Wenger continue their superb form, it might just be enough for them to claim the title that they haven’t won in over 8 years.

Mesut Ozil is without any doubt the main star of the team, he was even recently named as the German Player of the Year for 2015. This impressive Premier League run that Arsenal is going through cannot only be credited to Ozil as there are many players in the Arsenal squad that have been delivering in the big stage but the German is the hands down the main star and this is might just be the season that sees Arsenal turning into the kings of England.
